Luckily, he flunked out after winter quarter.
One of my favorite memories of that year was when the guy failed Math 050 despite claiming he had Calculus in high school. When Thump asked him how this was possible, the guy responded, "I don't remember how to do all of that basic stuff." To which Thump countered, "How do you forget to add and subtract."
