TOM: Do you already have a good idea of a top 3?
KEN: I don’t really have a top list, but Michigan and Pitt are near top. Michigan was always my favorite team growing up. Coach Gibson has been coming in lately, and I’ve been getting to know him. I also have a good relationship with the Pitt coaches.
TOM: Where does Michigan factor into all this, are they near the top, or at the top?
KEN: If I had to name a leader I would say it is Michigan. Once I go up there, if I like it I’ll pull the trigger and commit. I’m talking to my uncle about it, and I think I’ll be up there in about two weeks. I think I fit what they’re trying to do right now, and the coaches that I do know are all great. Everything about Michigan is great, and I could definitely see myself there.

The Nittany Lions have not offered a scholarship to defensive end Kenny Wilkins from Washington (Pa.) Trinity. It remains to be seen if they will.
"I talked to Coach (Tom) Bradley a couple weeks ago," Wilkins said. "He came to my school. I kind of felt like an offer was coming. Penn State and Ohio State haven't offered yet, but both of them are still possibilities."
Wilkins has over two-dozen scholarship offers, including several recent additions.
"Connecticut was my 27th offer," Wilkins said. "It came last Friday. They said they liked my film and wanted to offer me."
However, his other new offers have been particularly big. In fact, Michigan and West Virginia are now among Wilkins' top five choices.
"Recently, Michigan and West Virginia offered," Wilkins said. "Right now my top five are Virginia, Michigan, Pitt, West Virginia and Maryland, in no particular order."

From TheWolverine...recaps his visit to AA for the BBQ at the Big House...says Michigan and Pitt are at the top of the list and the visit did a lot to change his views about Michigan...wants to visit again with his family.
Unless some other offers jump up, I would say he is UM's to lose at this point...
Ken Wilkins will announce his college choice next Tuesday at noon. It sounds like he wants to have his moment to let us know who it is, so I think we should let him have it.
