Warren G. Harding High School
Class of 2010

(currently, no Scout or Rivals profile is available)

Marvin Logan is one of the original "big dogs" in Warren Harding's class of 2010. That sounds funny for somebody so young, but much has already been made about WGH's current junior class as Mike Dorsey, O'Neal Brown, and D.J. Williamson are already getting attention from both colleges and the media, while Logan didn't play last year.

With all this being said, Logan is the best defensive lineman currently on WGH's roster, and arguably one of the best players on the team. That's a huge statement, but as somebody who follows this school very closely, I can tell you that there will be an high intensity level on WGH's defensive front this season that was missing last year. Logan won't be the only reason why, but it won't take long for others to take notice of what he brings to the game. His coaches already have, which is why he is expected to start at defensive end. Yesterday, players from Solon, one of the early favorites in Division 1's Region 1 this season, found out that Logan not only hasn't lost a step from his freshman season, but he got even better (in 2006, WGH's freshman team gave Solon their only loss of the season). This Friday's scrimmage against Lakewood St. Edward, who is also expected to make noise in the region, will tell a lot as well.

Barring injury or something seriously unfortunate, if Logan continues to develop at his current pace, he could eventually compete for an offer. Since he missed last year, it probably won't be an early one, but Tressel and his staff will get to know him soon. Bold prediction, maybe, but this is one recruit that I feel real good about. Stay tuned.

Logan caught 1 pass for 60 yards & 1 TD in a 39-14 victory over Akron Buchtel. That was his first catch of the season (3 games), but he is more known for his play on defense as he has registered 12 tackles & 2 sacks thus far.
