'10 OH LB Zac Rosenbauer (Toledo Signee)

Got an update on Zac from the NIKE Combine in Columbus...talked to a couple of people who said the surface was extremely slow. Zac confirmed his personal best 40 was 4.73 with someone from Rivals. He had the fourth best SPARQ [90.3] of all the LBs, regardless of class, at the event and put up the 2nd best SPARQ of all the juniors tested in Columbus. His 90.3 rating is the 7th highest SPARQ nationally of all the '10 LBs tested so far this year.

Update:

Zac attended the National Underclassmen Combine in Columbus last Saturday. He did well on pass coverage and earned the MVP Linebacker award for the afternoon camp. He is invited to attend their Elite 100 Camp in one of four locations nationally [New Jersey, Georgia, Texas, or California] later this summer. They said that we should check the site (nationalunderclassmen.com) in couple of weeks for the combine write up.

From an email:

Zac attended the nextlevelfootball.com combine in Columbus, Ohio today. He did well and improved his numbers (probably due to him dropping ten pounds and running track). He talked to Marc Givlers from Rivals.com and got interviewed; he said he would call Zac sometime this week to get more info so he could write a feature on him.

Results
Ht:6'2"
Wt:237
40: 4.59 and 4.63 (both electronically timed)
20 shuttle: 4.44

Overall he had a great day and will be attending the Nike Training camp this friday and the Underarmour/Scout.com Combine May 17th in Cincy.

Nextlevelfootball.com will be posting the results on their website sometime this week.

From OhioVarsity...was easily the top LB at the Next Level Combine and says he is hearing from Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue and Colorado. Grew up a fan of OSU and more recently Rutgers.

Talks about his experience at the Nike camp. Says Cincinnati and Eastern Michigan have been showing the most interest, but Ohio State is starting to pick up the interest as well. Top 5 of Rutgers, Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan and Cincinnati.

He had a good day yesterday as well...Ran a 4.6 40...

He was on the rbs and tes like glue in the 1on1's...

Watched him cover Shoemaker the TE from Princeton who was one of the most impressive kids at the camp, and was one I asked about who he was in terms of his size, but Zac didn't let him off the line and when he did get off the line he was all over him to knock the pass down...

Interest is picking up and he is a solid 235, and there is a chance for DE...He is a football player, and while his combine was impressive, this is a kid that impresses more on film than at a combine...

The junior film will really tell the tale, but if it is anything like the sophomore film then big time offers will be aplenty...
