He will be a senior next season. He currently holds an offer from Cincinnati, will be taking a Junior Day visit to Indiana and expects offers from WVU and possibly Florida in the coming weeks.

Tyon is being recruited as a Safety. He's played a little OLB/Safety for the past two seasons. Has earned the reputation of a very emotional player he leaves it all on the field. Needs to check his emotion on the sidelines sometimes. We've giving him the nickname 'Time Bomb' beause he could explode on an offensive player and/or a water cooler on the sidelines at the drop of a hat. Love the kid's passion, though, (he absolutely hates to lose) and when I spoke to him at the Colerain basketball game last week I was impressed with the young man and his articulate nature.

Colerain LB has first offer

Colerain junior LB Tyon Dixon (6-0, 205) has been offered by Ball State, according to Colerain football coach Tom Bolden. I believe that is Dixon's first offer.

Dixon had 3.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and a touchdown on defense for the Cardinals last season.
