Terry has offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Wisconsin, UCLA, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Marshall, Kentucky, and Arkansas. He is very impressed with Wisconsin and would love an offer from tOSU.

My Take:

Nice frame...long with room. Terry is athletic and looks like a scalded dog in some of those clips...explosive laterally. The potential is there but right now he is playing 'small' Does not use his hands and ends up in bad positions in regards to balance, base, and pad level that he can recover with size and athleticism at the HS level. I like this one.

Camp News - The next Buckeye offer?

A player whose name has come up on this blog has surfaced as a star of camp. Huber Heights Wayne defensive tackle prospect Terry Talbott has come in and put on a show. You can see video of him in the Buckeye Vision section of this blog. Notice how often he does not use his hands. Needs alot of work. He is just beating his opponents with elite level explosion off the ball. I have not heard measurables listed yet but the words "physical specimen" are being thrown about. We are kicking around alot of names right now with the camp but I am not going to be surprised to see this one as the next Buckeye offer.

Quite athletic, plays fast. Great frame where adding size won't be a problem at all. Surprising depth over-all this year as far as DT's go. Staff has seemed pretty impressed, and offering a kid at Braxton's school is always a plus.

He looked about that size in camp on friday, and not carrying much bad weight.

Didn't see him do 1v1 workouts, but he ran very well in warmup and agility drills.

Love the film and what sticks out to me is Terry is constantly maintaining a high level of play. He hustles and plays with a passion. Credit to him but also to Coach Minton, he does a great job of getting all he can out of his players. As grad and Duane said, he never uses his hands to his advantage. Terry is definetly a DT imo and I would love to see us go after this GWOC stud. I'm surprised a guy like Talbot went under the radar at Wayne to be honest.

I didn't even put that together about Braxton , nice . Now i really want this kid offered , not only do we get one of Braxton's teammates we also get IMO a great raw athlete with a jamming motor . I hope we offer this kid but even more i hope he dosn't go to scUM .
