Purdue offers Ohio defensive lineman

Defensive tackle Josh Davis (Plain City, Ohio/Jonathan Alder) has received his second scholarship offer. He landed a scholarship offer from Indiana in mid-February and just added an offer from Purdue.

He is originally from Bluffton, Ind., but he moved to Plain City, Ohio, after his freshman year and has been a two-year starter for Jonathan Alder. The 6-6, 270-pounder made 74 tackles including two sacks during his junior season.

Davis has attended junior days at Indiana, Cincinnati, Notre Dame and Northwestern. He has visited Ohio State, Illinois and Vanderbilt -- but currently doesn't have a favorite.

From the Purdue site...favors Illinois and Purdue (both offered)...also hearing from Ohio State, Vanderbilt and West Virginia...has been to , Ohio State, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Illinois, West Virginia and Purdue and wants to commit before his senior season.
