My Take:

Kid is tough...engages contact and shows a good burst, solid ball skills, and a versatility to stretch the field or play the slot and work the flats or hole.

Creecy getting a lot of interest

By Eric Guimaraes
WR Anthony Creecy (6-0 197) of Durham, NC once had his top three as North Carolina, NC State, and Duke. Not anymore. "I'm pretty wide open right now," said Creecy. "Ohio State came and saw me (at his school). They could sneak in there (top of his list). Michigan came and saw me too and they could sneak in there as well." Creecy said he was visited by a coach from USC today but only had time to shake his hand. "I was in honor's English and all I had time to do was say 'hello'", he said. "I'm really interested in them though. I gave him my number so we can talk. I want to learn more about South Carolina." USC has offered and so has Clemson. Creecy got a chance to visit Clemson's junior day and enjoyed his time. He made several junior days and says that they were all very similar but that Virginia Tech's stood out. "They told us that a lot of players weren't doing what they're supposed to be doing on the field. They said that if a freshman came in, learned the playbook, and did what they're supposed to do, they could take away a position from a starter. That surprised me," recalled Creecy. Creecy will camp at Tennessee and Wake Forest with his team this summer and may go to Ole Miss with his middle school coach.
