Actually, the University of Iowa isn't in Des Moines either--it's in Iowa City (which is over 100 miles from Des Moines).

Pretty sure Iowa state is in Ames

The idea is the ISU campus is very close to Des Moines. Even though Iowa is the most popular school in the state, I think the Des Moines area is more pro-ISU.
