If Matta pulls this off, then he is just amazing...

I hate the idea of passing over on guys like Howard and Kelogg in our own backyard, but if it means getting a class of Sullinger, Thomas, and Knight that would just be amazing...

someone else will turn pro early to get Kellogg a schollie. Matta, I think will have to on this one.

Does anyone know if video exists yet for Knight?

I think point guard videos are the most telling of any position(assuming it's properly put together and is long enough to show trends) when using video to try and get a read on a player.

At the Bryan/College Station Great American Shootout this weekend....Knight scored 43 points in a championship win over a team of unsigned HS seniors. Knight mentioned UConn, North Carolina, Duke, Clemson, Miami and Texas A&M as schools after him early.

Wasn't he supposed to be a OSU lean?

Florida recruits remain hopeful coach will stay
Some say Donovan has secured UF's status at the level of the national powers.

Buddy Collings | Sentinel Staff Writer
Posted June 5, 2007

Three of the state's top young basketball players said Monday that Billy Donovan's stunning return to the Gators would maintain UF's premier position among prospects.

And all three were forgiving when asked if Donovan's credibility on the recruiting trail will be damaged because he pulled out of an agreement with the Magic.

"He's brought two championships there; I think he could only bring more," said Brandon Knight, who starred for Fort Lauderdale Pine Crest as a freshman and is one of the top-rated Class of 2010 players in the nation. "That of course brings some recruits in. If he did leave, that's taking away part of the success Florida has had."

Knight, a 6-3 guard, listed UF, Miami, Connecticut, Clemson and Texas A&M. He said he has not yet built a personal relationship with Donovan and would not necessarily have removed the Gators just because Donovan left.

Brandon has been identified as a Buckeye commit in today's Indy Star. This is interesting to say the least. If true, watch him be come the next victim of website attacks.

WOW - 2010 1-2-3

How far ahead has Ohio State coach Thad Matta gotten in recruiting? The former Butler player and coach has an oral commitment from Fort Wayne Luers star DeShaun Thomas, ranked No. 1 in the nation in the Class of 2010 by several scouting services. Matta also has commitments from Columbus, Ohio's Jared Sullinger, younger brother of former Buckeye J.J. Sullinger, and Florida's Brandon Knight. Matta could end up with the top three players in the nation in one class since Thomas, Sullinger and Knight rank 1-2-3 nationally by some scouting services.
