1. Before law school, I didn't take any level of schooling "seriously" nor did I take standardized test seriously. Good enough was "good enough" for me.
2. I play the guitar in a local bar band
3. I have come to learn it is far more interesting and fun to watch my own kids play the sports they play than to play those same sports myself.
4. Was not as good as BuckeyeRyn at Tetris, but was better at Dr. Mario by a margin she would not be willing to admit.
5. I over think problems in lieu of action.
6. The most points I ever scored in a timed basketball game was 16

I think that I may have struck out 9 times in a game once

1. I add jokes to a stand-up comedy routine I'll almost certainly never perform (my friends and I have always talked about finding an open mic night somewhere and watching each other bomb).
2. I grew up on a hog farm. There wasn't much to do but play baseball and football with my brothers in the front yard and ride tractors with my dad. It was a pretty awesome way to grow up and I wouldn't change it if I could.
3. I'm mad I never got the memo that the fountain of hot girls shuts off once you're out of college.
4. I have two TVs in my living room. My friends love coming over on Saturdays. Their wives/girlfriends hate it.
5. I played football, basketball, and baseball in high school. Baseball in college. When I played quarterback in 8th grade, I was intercepted by a kid who only had one arm and my friends still haven't let me live it down to this day.
6. I haven't been any further west than Evansville, Indiana. However, I love traveling and I probably wouldn't even be living in Ohio if I wasn't so close to my family.
7. I always thought my dream job would be creating TV commercials. I'd still love to do that, but now my dream job would be anything pertaining to Ohio State football.
8. I was the Player of the Year in the state of Ohio for my division my senior year of baseball, and I don't think I was the best player on my own team.
9. I have dislocated my shoulder 4 times and torn my ACL once (why #8 never led to anything).
10. Last summer, I did a double backflip off of a bridge at a lake in Tennessee. I knocked the wind out of myself and had a bruised rib cage for 2 weeks. I'll do it again when I'm down there next year.

1. The schools I attended ranged from Harvard to Ohio State.

2. I have played basketball against NBA players, and once outscored the opposing basketball team (5-on-5) by myself.

3. I have been to all 50 states twice - once before my kids were born, and a second time with them.

4. I have visited all of the continents except Antarctica.

5. My completely naked 18-year-old body was on Columbus local TV in the 1970s.

6. My name has been listed on ESPN as the winner of a competition.

7. I got my longest-held job by answering a newspaper ad and taking a programming aptitude test, despite having almost no computer experience.

8. When I was younger, I entered a couple of beer-chugging contests in bars, and won them both.

9. I've met dozens of BPers and gone to games with a few of them.

10. I'm very proud of my kids, who seem to have avoided making most of the mistakes I made in my youth.

Full disclosure:
1- Harvard was the name of my kindergarten.

2 - I was only in that pick-up game because my brother-in-law actually had game; in a separate game years earlier the final score when I outscored the other team was 56-3 and I had 4 points.

5 - I was one of a group of streakers on the track at the 'Shoe that was shown on the 11:00 news running away from the camera.

6 - I was the first correct caller on an ESPN trivia question back in the early '80s - I won an electric shaver. The question was which other still-standing track-and-field world record was set on the same day as Bob Beamon's WR long jump? Lee Evans in the 400-meters was the answer, and Evans' record has since been broken. And I just dialed the phone, there was no Google to check back then.

10) I am currently living out of various NYU dorms and village apartments in attempt to avoid staying with my parents in Westchester (north of NYC).

9) The only professional sport I have no interest in is basketball, although I enjoy the experience of attending a Knicks game.

8) I founded the Rugby Union club at my high school. It is the only sport I actually play.

7) I am a rare individual who is a closet jock and widely-perceived nerd, instead of a jock being a closet nerd.

6) I am a huge history nerd, but I hated school. I got a 5 on the AP US History test without taking the class. I am totally self-educated.

5) I am the only student of my class (~500) who did not immediately go to college after high school. I enlisted in the Marines.

4) I read about 2-3 books a week. Despite being a nerd, I don't know anything about video games or computers nor do I own any systems. I also like to write.

3) I am obsessed with anything "vintage", but not in a hipster way... As in, I love clothing from the 20s and 30s, music and cars from the 20s through 70s.

2) I can't stand sports fans who support teams which have no relevance to them, i.e. not one's home team or college team.

1) I don't wear team merchandise. I only wear team colors. The one exception is my NY Yankees cap.

1. As you can probably guess by my username, I run cross country (and track) and have since 7th grade.

2. I'm incredibly injury prone. It really sucks.

3. I used to play soccer, and I always wonder if I would have been better off sticking with it, since I liked it more and was better at it. I decided to switch to running because my entire family runs, and I do love it a lot.

4. I moved from Columbus, OH to Gainesville, FL in 9th grade. Next year was the 2006 season.. Football and basketball. It sucked.

5. Although my major is undecided, I will probably be the first member of my family to not major in math.

6. I've only been on OSU campus a few times.

7. One of those times was 2004. In the 'Shoe, against TSUN. It was awesome.

8. When I read Into The Wild, I was stunned at how similar I was to Chris McCandless. Biggest difference is I don't have the family problems he did. Pretty scary, actually. Loved the book and movie though, one of my favorite books.

9. My favorite author is probably Kurt Vonnegut Jr.

10. I have never had any idea what I want to do for a living when I get out of college.
