#1 Southern Cal 27, Washington 24 (final)

USC dodged a few bullets near the end. Dropped INT in the endzone, led to FG to ice the game. Locker completed a pass to the 5, but was a yard beyond the sticks (loss of down).

That makes TWO straight moral victories for Washington over SC. Take that Charlie!

Good to see Kirk still getting in his b10 cheapshots. "OSU stumbles up to #4" :roll2: You mean the team that handled this wash team better than SC?

Then to remove all credibility, he puts Oregon at #5. I guess he's trying hard to make people forget who resided there before: PSU. :atom:

I've always been a big Herbie defender, but my lord, he's making it hard this season.

He's just bitter because Penn State has made him look like a fool. Next week's Penn State/Iowa game is the "I made less of a dipshit pick to win the Big 10" bowl between he and Lou Holtz.

As for this game, well, it was a close win, but then again you'll get a few of those on the road. Washington just made too many mistakes.

So we've seen some huge problems that gives SC fits;

The biggest, a mobile QB - its times like this I miss Troy.

USC barely making it out, that was Washington's game though; impressive
showing none the less.

Dennis Dixon... please for the sake of Ohio, please get and keep head out of ass... b/c God knows Cal ain't gonna beat USC... me (OSU Lovin') and my dirty pinko commie brother who is a UCLA fan will be pulling against USC all year. (At least we have one common enemy.)

Ohio State beats Washington more dominantly than Herbie's precious Southern Cal, yet we are stumbling up to #4? :shake:
WtH is that. Herbie is a Buckeye through and through.
Some people just can't seem to grasp the idea that he has a boss.

The Big 10 is paying one hell of a price for the end of last season and the start of this one. Putting more MAC teams and I AA teams on the conference schedule doesn't help either. It's the same thing most of us bitched about regarding SEC teams, Notre Dame and the Big East in previous seasons.

Unfortunately for this season much of the damage has been done unless Wisconsin and OSU are undefeated when they play and both remain undefeated afterwards. This could be a season where you can win the conference with one, possibly two conference losses.

I tend to feel that all we can do is win out and let the chips fall. We have no control over how people feel about the B10 so why worry about it.
Hey if we win out and everyone else loses one then we are in the NC.

So then he's a sellout, or a company shill. Neither one is my idea of a 'buckeye through and through."

I don't see Spielman taking shots at the big ten EVERY single week he broadcasts. Heck his "OSU stumbles up to #4" comment was one of his more tame bodyshots.

I don't believe for one minute that he is a sell out. Do you actually think that , Right now, we are better than USC, or LSU. which one would you say is the #1 team?
I may not care for remarks such as the "stumbling" but I didn't hear him say it so I don't know exactly how he meant it.
No Matter; there is no way that I believe he is anything less than a Buckeye.
