#1 Ohio State 72, Michigan 62 (Final)

Our downfall in the big dance (if there is one) will be the fact that we have NO killer instinct. If you let every team hang around until the end, that will eventually bite you in the ass. I want to see us come out in the beginning of the second half with a ton of energy and just put this game away. Play good defense (limit the second chance points) and get the ball to Oden to and the rest should take care of itself.

I am not so disappointed but then I can't see the game. I think Matta will motivate them to get more boards and that we should win this game better than the first game margin. Hello NIT!

Sounds like a recipe for success to me. I seem to remember a football team at Ohio State that didn't have the killer instinct either. But you are right. They need to come out and stomp on these guys' throats.

Otherwise, we won't have half the entertainment we might have had from watching the umgoblue.com website!

I agree, the killer instinct thing has bothered me since the UNC game early in the season. This Buckeye team seems to get a small lead and sit on it rather than put their foot on the throat of the opposing team.

The John Wooden teams of UCLA were boring to watch but they put teams away and did it early, I would love to see that with this Buckeye team. They have the talent.

I swear the kid grows more facial hair ina week than I have in my entire life.

The title I saw was complete bullshit. It said Ohio State can improve their chances of earning a #1 seed. WTF? I didn't realize we were in jeopardy of not getting a #1.

Ha, I love it. But then you hear, "Florida might have a chance of losing the #1 seed if they don't win their first game of the tournie". LOL

THat's what is so frustrating. It's not like we are still trying to find our identity. Sometimes I just think we don't have IT. Whatever IT may be. If I had to put my finger on I would say we lack intensity. It looks like they are just going through the motions. I realize that this is a reflection of the team's leaders (conley and oden) but that doesn't mean it is a moot point. I am not questioning the level of effort, just the manner in which they go about it. In the end, all that matters is the W. As long as we keep racking them up nothing else matters.
