Well, if you told me before the game that Oden would have 0 points and 0 rebounds at the half, a 4-point lead sounds pretty good.

How they handle the foul calls on Oden and Hibbert will be interesting. When Hibbert was in there without Oden, he was very effective.

Interesting first half. I think at this point we focus on keeping Oden in the game as long as Hibbert can go. It looks like we can contain Green, and we are smoking them in transition. As long as we can keep our intensity on D we are looking good.

If you told me Oden would play 2:30 of the first half and that the Bucks would have a 4 point lead at halftime, I would take it every time. Jamar's had two big three's halfway down that spinned out, hopefully those start falling for him in the second half...

I am happy so far with a 4 point lead in this game. We just need to settle down a little more and make those shots . We need for cook and lighty and Butler and Harris. I look for a good second half. Oh yes we need to drive on Hibbard more.

considering....

Both teams with 5 fouls, there should definitely have been a few more called....but considering Oden has zero points, zero rebounds and two fouls in what, 2:30?

C'mon guys!!! 2nd Half the shots start falling and we get GO going.


I like our chances.

All things considered I am moderately happy with the 1st half.

Yes, Oden was out all too quickly - but later in the half Hibbert picks up his second. That should make it an even game between the two in the 2nd frame.

Meanwhile the Buckeyes are scoring well on the break, and doing regardless of who they have on the floor. Last but not least our boys have the lead at the half. Against Hibbert and Green, playing for the majority of the first half without Oden, who would have predicted that?

The Buckeyes are scoring at a .400 clip on FG, .500 from 3 point range as well. Which, if I recall the stats breakdown correctly, bodes well.

The score might look like a Catholic League game, but as long as the boys in Scarlet & Gray have the lead I couldn't care less.
