Great looking wide receiver from one of the top programs in Ohio. Plays tough and has the ability to make the big play. Great size and hands.

By Berk...talks about UC's junior day and receiving a Bearcat offer. Michigan, OSU and Maryland are also schools of interest.

From the UC site...more on the offer...visited UC for two games this past season.

He's a real nice player, and had a great game against Independence (I think) in the Herbie game. Heard he may have some grade issues, though.

UC is doing a great job with local underclassman. They've offered a bunch of 09' guys already, and have offers out to a few sophs as well; Jordan Hicks, linebacker and next stud recruit from Lakota West, already has an offer.

Elder's Jones commits to UC

Elder junior WR Josh Jones has orally committed to play football at UC, Elder coach Doug Ramsey said this afternoon.

Jones, who is 6 feet 1 and 205 pounds, had 38 receptions for 601 yards and six touchdowns for the Panthers last season.

Jones also considered Indiana, Big East and Mid-American Conference schools.

"I knew I wanted to stay home and play," Jones said a few minutes ago.

Jones said he liked the UC coaching staff and felt he could make an impact similar to what former Colerain standout Dominick Goodman has had with the Bearcats.
