By Dave Berk...Cincinnati has offered. Visiting Michigan State this weekend and Purdue next weekend.
 
Yea he runs a 4.5 and 4.1 shuttle thats nice, and playing qb helps his athletics too. I am sure coach carpenter is helping him with recruting to especially with osu. This kid will be a camp offer if he does im guessing but He will be pilling other offers from big schools in the next months to come. His film is real long and thats a good thing because more highlights. He has good instincts and the way he drops back effortlessy reminds me of some of osu great linebackers, I wanna see him stuff holes more but he is playing football in d1 ohio which is some good football too. I could see this kid gettin an offer but geez there is about 12 lbs in ohio that are wow!! This years class of lb is rediculous. But I will put him up there with Snook, Fox, Allen and Scott and Ferrel for top lb's without offers from osu.

Hey guys I am a big fan of Ryan Cheek since I saw his highlights on Scouting Ohio.

I am not sure if he isn't getting an OSU offer at LB due to you guys being about full.

What are his feelings about MSU?? There are rumors I am hearing there are a few Ohio kids ready to jump at an offer if they get offered.

I am hoping Cheek is one. Him and Norman would be great duo. Not to mention not a great year at LB in Michigan and will have to go outside of the state.

Sounds like he has genuine interest in MSU...I think he is certainly worthy of an offer from the Spartans. Don't know if there will be room at OSU considering they already have two LBs committed and have offers out to a few others...

Yeah I am kind of hoping he gets an offer soon. He was up for our Junior Day one of the last weekends of February.

Also attended the Rivals 5 star academy this past weekend up here in East Lansing. I am sure he had some contact with coaches before or after the event.

Nice to hear you guys may not have room. Granted the state is loaded with linebackers this year.

From the MSU site...visited NC State and Maryland last week (both offered). Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Michigan State and Wisconsin are showing interest and talks about his interest in the Spartans. Plans to decide this summer.
