Is this the famed St. Anthonys? If so, it would not be a bad idea at all to get a toehold in there. That part of Jersey produces TONS of basketball talent, and Cheek appears to be among the elite.

I would be happy with one of Cheek, Strickland, Boynton, or Henry as the one recruit in the 09' class, and it seems like we are sitting the best with Cheek at the moment...

But I wonder if the staff might not want to take 2 if they have 2 open ships...

Maybe one of them and then a F/C type player, maybe Van Tresse...

Cheek lists Georgetown, North Carolina, Pitt, Villanova, Syracuse, Rutgers, Miami, Clemson, Wake Forest, Ohio State as schools of interest. Ohio State is recruiting him hard and has spoken to his family. Staying close to home will not be a factor for Cheek.
