Has a nice big frame and uses it well. Excellent underneath and over the middle as he uses his body to shield defenders and shows the ability to make tough grabs in traffic. Is strong and breaks tackles in the open field. Has decent straight line speed after the catch, but is not a real burner nor is he super elusive. Can go up and get the jump ball, but must improve speed and acceleration to be more of a downfield threat at the next level.

2nd team All-Detroit Free Press after having 540 receiving yards.
