The last recruit we went head to head with against Rutgers was Anthony Davis I believe... So never count anyone out.

Totally different situation...Rutgers was the home state school in that one...

I agree somewhat different situations.. not totally though. Rutgers is a lot closer to MD then Ohio and my main point was that you just can't ride anyone off with a 17-18 year old kid making decisions...

Exactly my thoughts.....I think our coaching staff, players and facilities should knock his socks off! Also, Lamaar being there....perhaps showing him around town! He should feel right at home here.

If Thomas comes with him on his visit, that is certainly a big plus for us. One positive from the Rutgers comment, is that it now sounds that Givens is predisposed to committing fairly quickly. If he doesn't committ to us and ends up at UM, it will give us alot of time to focus on other top cb prospects.
