Van Treese does not have a list of favorites at this time but wants to have a list by the end of summer. Van Treese is impressed with Indiana and likes the Big Ten. At the Adidas May Classic at Assembly Hall this weekend, Van Treese scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a win.

Scored 21 in a game this past weekend in one of his best performances. He said tOSU told him he was the only offer we have sent out for the 09' class.

Not sure how dated that info is with an offer out to Boynton, and Henry might get one, as the staff seems to be on him pretty hard as well...

The 6-foot-9 VanTreese, who was the backup for Greg Oden as a freshman in high school, has already been offered a scholarship by IU, the University of Kentucky, Ohio State, Xavier, Notre Dame and Purdue. He's considered a top-25 prospect in the Class of 2009 and is also considering the University of Louisville, Florida, Kansas, Duke, North Carolina, Virginia and Georgetown.

VanTreese said he liked IU, UK and U of L.

"They're close to home, I like all the coaching staffs and those three schools get a lot of media attention," he said. "I could see myself going to one of those three schools."
