'09 FL WR James Green (Toledo Signee)

I'm pretty sure he is on our radar but I'm not sure how interested we are. His name is Ricardo Dixon (a CB) and he is supposedly a stud as well.

Yes, there has been talk about a "package deal" for Dixon and Green at FSU....I am gonna be pretty wary of the Noles as a serious player for the two of them.

I really do like Green....Dixon too is quite a stud, but needs to develop a little more on the physical side. However, he does flat out fly....he runs a 4.42!!! Pretty sweet!

Perhaps it was an oversight, but Green does not list OSU as one his offers in that Bucknuts article.

According to Kurelic, Green told him yesterday that he doesn't have an offer. Definitely some conflicting info out there on this point. Not sure who is right.

USC Working Hard For Florida Receiver

By Phil Kornblut
USC is very much in the mix for WR James Green (6-4 200) of Tallahassee. He has offers from the Gamecocks, Central Florida, Auburn and Minnesota. He's also getting interest from Ohio State, Florida and Rutgers. Green said the Gamecocks are very active with their recruiting of him. "I hear from coach (Shane) Beamer about once a week," Green said. "The first think I'm looking for is academics, and then football. It doesn't matter to me about early playing time. I want to major in criminology." Green visited Florida, Central Florida and North Carolina last season, and he has been to junior days at Auburn and Florida State. He said he might attend spring games at USC, Florida State and Central Florida. He does not have a favorite. Playing for Krop High School in Miami last season, Green had 29 catches for 496 yards and seven touchdowns.

Interesting we are not in his top 5 if we have offered. Wonder what's happened since we were his leader.

Well he wasn't quoted in the article saying they were his top 5, so I think we're still good. The reporter claimed that they were his top 5. Could've been a reporter from the South trying to promote Southern schools.

Maybe someone from the BP Recruiting Team could shed some light on this...
