I don't think Jeff needs any additional influence, when he left Columbus last time he was ready to commit. (I interviewed him that week)

I think the best news about Jeff's trip to tOSU is that he's bringing his Mom.

With a father who played at A&M, the only way he's going to get out of Texas is with Mom's full, enthusiastic blessing. So in addition to the Brew Crew being there, I hope the parents of some OOS commits are there too. Mom Heywood, the Shugarts, etc.

If Mom feels good about the academics and the coaching staff -- particularly JT -- tOSU has a real chance to sign-up an OOS legacy. A very, very difficult thing to do, but if anyone can do it, it's JT.
