'08 OH SF Delvon Roe (Michigan State Signee)

He has been to OSU before...I am not worried about losing Roe. The fact that he already has an idea of where he wants to go before taking his visits and the fact that he is friends with Kofous and Matta has made him priority #1 in the '08 class, etc. (I could go on and on). The point is that all signs are pointing towards Roe being the 3rd commit of the '08 class.

first, he talks glowingly about the caliber of players OSU is bringing in. second, he says he has a good idea of where he wants to go, but wants to see the campus (meaning he wants to check out the dorms, academic facilities, etc.). he has been to the VCA but I doubt at this point he has gotten the full tour like most of the '07 kids have. I am not concerned about losing Roe at all at this point. Junkie, back me up here...

Roe has been to several games but I do not believe he has taken an unofficial visit to tOSU. Someone correct me if I am wrong and you can read that interview a couple of different ways in my opinion.

I like where we stand with Roe and I think he will be a Buckeye before the end of the summer.

I'll have to take your word on the update, but seems like Roe has a lot of connections to OSU to decide he is going somewhere else once he sees a campus. I'm not doubting you read it, but I would be shocked if he committed somewhere else this early.

Thanks wadc, I simply read it wrong the first time. Your way of thinking makes much more sense in this case, but my panic first mindset took the words differently. Your logic + Matta + nice campus = Roe is a buckeye :)

Roe capped off a great week at the NIKE camp by scoring 16 points in the underclassmen All-Star game.

Roe hopes to visit Miami, Florida and Cincinnati this fall. He will visit MSU and Michigan in August and most likely narrow his list by the end of summer. Michigan, Illinois, Ohio State, Florida, Miami, North Carolina, Indiana, MSU are the schools at the top of his list.
