Leading the way for East were seniors Sal Battles and Gary Thornton, in addition to an offensive line that opened the holes and an opportunistic defense that foiled two Fitch touchdown threats.
Thornton scored on a 1-yard plunge in the second period and added 59 yards rushing in 12 carries.
Senior quarterback Sal Battles threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns and also rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns to lead East. Senior running back Gary Thornton added 88 yards rushing, while Jamayle Roland had 110 yards receiving and a TD.
