USC Still Possible For Sanders Visit

By Phil Kornblut
OL Zebrie Sanders (6-6 273) of Clayton, OH has made an official visit to Florida and is scheduled to visit Georgia November 2nd. He has not scheduled any other visits and only knows that LSU will get one of them. He is still considering USC for a visit and he talked Wednesday night with Gamecock recruiter John Hunt. "He was just trying to get me to set up a visit," Sanders said. Sanders said UCLA and Stanford are two others he's considering for visits. Georgia and Florida are his top two right now.

Is there any chance left that Sanders still ends up a Buckeye. From everything I hear, sounds like an offer would only come if J.J. comes out and says he sticking with WVU and OSU is out of the picture. He still doesn't list OSU as any of his favorites, but I imagine it's because they have not offered. If he does eventually get that offer, is OSU's hole to catch his leaders too deep to climb out of?

Good Question. I believe it all hinges on how upfront and honest the OSU staff has been with Zebrie. If they've always let him know where he stands and also kept the lines of communication open then I could see him reconsidering the bucks. Ya gotta think that his refusal to list OSU as a school of interest in all his updates is just because of the lack of an offer.

I just don't see him being a part of this class...

Is it possible to agree with all of these? I think I do.

ESPN - Recruiting coast-to-coast: Ohio offense - Insider

However, prospects such as OT Zebrie Sanders (Clayton, Ohio/North) are still wide open. Sanders as of now has just visited Florida with an expected visit to Georgia in November. As far as a tug of war between Michigan and Ohio State? Well, there isn't much of one as Sanders does not even list Michigan or Ohio State in his top choices -- those distinctions belong to UCLA, Florida and Georgia. We can see why Ohio State has backed off, as Sanders looks great on the hoof and passes the eye test but is very raw and has some developing to do.

Sanders Planning Holiday Visit To USC

By Phil Kornblut
OL Zebrie Sanders (6-6 273) of Clayton, OH plans to set an official visit with USC for the weekend of the Clemson game which, of course, falls on the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. Sanders lived in Columbia until the fifth grade, and his father played at Spartanburg High School and SC State, so the family has ties to the state. Sanders has been talking weekly with USC offensive line coach John Hunt. He has made an official visit to Florida and will visit Georgia November 9th. He is looking at LSU and UCLA for his final visits. Michigan also is a factor and he's made several unofficial visits to Ann Arbor. He does not have a current favorite.

ESPN.com - NCF - Scouts Inc. Recruiting Briefing Room

Three schools looking good for OT Zebrie Sanders
Under Armour All-American Zebrie Sanders said, "Florida, Georgia, and UCLA are my top three schools. They are all about equal to me," ESPN affiliate GatorCountry.com reports.

While those programs sit at the top, he added, "I still like Michigan and some others. I think I may take an official visit to LSU and maybe one to South Carolina."

Sanders, who hopes to major in business, described what he's seeking, "I am looking at location, tradition, depth chart, prestige, academics, and how comfortable I am there. I don't necessarily want a small college town, but just some place I feel comfortable. I want a place where I can be individualized from my parents."
