Tim told me tonight that he's probably going to commit to another school next week....

He's headed down to the OSU/NW game to talk to the staff let them know....

FYI, WVU and Pitt ave been in contact in the last few days....

But where is the tOSU offer? JT and JB need to offer him and then complete Block "O". I've seen German's junior tape and I would offer him. He wants to BE a Buckeye. I don't know why JT and JB are putting all their eggs in one basket with Jenkins. If Jenkins stays with WVU then JT and JB stiffed themselves. Reminds me of the DiLillo situation over again.

Because that is what tOSU does...in order to be the best they have to make tough decisions about taking the best players...heck i bet there are thousands of kids that would love to be a buckeye...that doesn't mean it is going to happen...

the coaching staff clearly thinks JJ is a better player and is confident in where they stand with him

Yeah...I was ready to commit to OSU but they never offered me. Apparently there are no other 5'7 white guys on scholarship...not even kickers. In the end it turned out you can't just get offers for wanting to be a Buckeye...crazy. Welcome to BP computerbuck...can you do the smiley face with the glasses on here? I miss them so...

Valley tackle German verbals to BG

HANOVER -- Each summer day, Tim German would wake up early and spend two hours doing a series of footwork drills with teammates, a routine he has repeated since seventh-grade.

It's paid off with a successful high school football career, and it's about to pay off even further.

German verbally committed to Bowling Green on Monday, accepting a full scholarship from the Mid-American Conference school. German will sign his national letter of intent in February, but he can already feel the excitement.

"It's great. It's a once in a lifetime deal," said German, a 6-foot-7, 300-pound senior. "It's pretty neat. It's something I've dreamed about since I was a little kid."

Valley lineman to play for BG

HANOVER -- Tim German spent the past three years creating his place in Licking Valley football history.

Now, German will be taking a piece of Licking Valley with him during the next four years after signing his letter of intent Wednesday to play football at Bowling Green.


"I want to go in there and make a name for myself," German said. "I just want to represent Valley and if I could it make big, that would definitely put us on the map."
