By "The Bank"...Northwestern and UConn are the latest to offer. He is hoping for offers from ND, OSU and Georgia Tech but is also happy with the offers he has. OSU remains in frequent contact.

St. Edward's Staples commits to Illinois

St. Edward linebacker Justin Staples said Monday he has made an oral commitment to accept a football scholarship from the University of Illinois.
Staples told Illinois coach Ron Zook of his decision Monday afternoon.
"They seem to be going in the right direction and look to be a good team in the next few seasons," Staples said of the Illini. "They're recruiting some great players. Location was a big factor for me, too."
