I was at camp wtih this kid my freshman year. He wasn't anything special as an athlete? Maybe im just blowing smoke, and it has been two years. Anyone who's getting looks is good, so good luck to him.

From Duane Long... Jamiihr is interested in tOSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Penn St., among others. He will play OLB on defense, and see time at RB/QB/WR on offense. He reports a 2.8 GPA with a 17 on his ACT, but wants to get better in both areas.

For only being 206 lbs a 4.78 40 time isn't fast at all. He should be running in the high 4.5's or low 4.6's IMO. It's still al long way away though, he can work on these things. I'm sure he's been doing that for a while.

Hawk was too slow coming out of High School too... if the staff likes him and he gets an offer there should be no worries about his speed or anything else.

:roll1: That is an extremely fast time for a sophomore. Chad Greenway ran a 4.71 and he's way more developed than Jamiihr. Seriously, these kids aren't even close to their full potential.

Video.

My Take: Not really a whole lot to see from a linebacker position. Mostly just clips of him rushing off the edge, where he is very good at. Don't get me wrong he is a good player, playing for a really bad team, but his video doesnt show anything in being able to fill the whole and play lb at the next level. I think that he could still end up being a big safety if his speed is a true time.

Also I am from Lima and from someone I trust their evaluation who has seen him play said that he is going to be very good and it is obvious why schools are after him.
