This one, is extremely unusual to say the least. University School, is a private school located in Gates Mills, Ohio. The cost is close to $30,000.00 per year. Their very best football players end up at Ivy or Patriot League schools.

Well, actually, US is in Hunting Valley.... :wink2:

Your point is generally well-taken, but thehe CCIS schools (US, Hawken, and Gilmour) occasionally produce a D-1 talent:

2008 OL Matt Mihalik (Gilmour) is going to Virginia.

2006 RB Paul Rice (US) signed with Yale.

Former Dalls Cowboy QB Jason Garrett is a 1984 graduate of US.

Former All-Pro WR O.J. McDuffie is a 1988 graduate of Hawken.

Former Penn State and NFL WR Eric Hamilton was a 1982 graduate of Hawken.

I'm sure that there are others, but those are the ones that I can remember off the top of my head.

Obviously, you can add Jake Stoller to the above list.

Who went to Princeton if I remember correctly...

We'll see how this class shakes out... Jake is definitely being monitored...
Jason began at Princeton, then transferred to Columbia.

In any event, the small private schools on the east side of Cleveland do prodcue some D-1 talent, and do so more often than some of the public schools in the same geographic area. I wouldn't discount Jake's ability just because he attends a small, private, expensive high school.

They also play some pretty good competition. They usually play a number of the smaller Catholic schools in the area(I know University does at least), such as VASJ, Walsh Jesuit, and Akron St. Vincent - St. Mary, so they aren't just playing a bunch of smaller, bad teams like Western Reserve Academy.

Also US QB Jeff Terrell who just graduated from Princeton this year I believe got invited to some camps.

And Bryant Milligan who was at US until his senior year, transferred to Glenville and ended up at Marshall.

And Tupta is at Colgate, did he sign with OU, because I thought he was always there.

You're right on Tupta - he had some D-1 offers, but signed with Colgate. I deleted him from the list.
