From the Nebraska site...will visit Nebraska this week and will visit Minnesota in August. He has officials set up for the Fall to Nebraska (9/14), Louisville (9/22) and Minnesota (9/28).

How does Callahan recruit so well out there in Lincoln? He gets city kids like Gray or Marlon Lucky from North Hollywood to come out to Nebraska on a remarkably consistent basis. I know they have a great fan base and I would imagine great facilities, but they seem to recruit at a far higher level than the natural resources there would allow. What am I missing here? Thanks.

Football is king in Nebraska, just like in Ohio. I'm sure Callahan is a good recruitier too. Their West Coast Offense gives the back good opprutunites... and they send guys to the pros. Also Dave Kennedy isn't too shabby of a strength and conditioning coach.:wink2:

I guess Charlie is giving these guys the "you can be the savior" speech? After a solid recruiting effort by Nebraska, losing Gray and Woods would be very tough to overcome. They are both very soid players with loads of potential. If Charlie can ever right this sinking ship, or if a new regime can come and take over, they could have a scary offense... the defense, as usual, will need to wake up though (even if they are #50 in total defense, which isn't to terribly bad considering who they have played).
