I highly doubt this "conditional offer" but this kid was a player in HS...we could not block him at the MIKE and he also dominated the SC North/South game. Just keeping this here in case something does develop down the line...

Ford Rising On Recruiting Charts
By Phil Kornblut
Former Georgetown standout DE Larry Ford (6-3 240) spent last season redshirting at Coffeyville JC, KS. Now, major schools are ready to see what he can do this spring and fall. Ford said he has conditional verbal offers from USC, Clemson, Ohio State, Kansas State, Pittsburgh, Washington State, Texas A&M and LSU. The offers are conditional based on his academic progress. He also likes Wake Forest and NC State. Ford said he is doing well academically and is on track to graduate in December. He would have three years to play three on the next level. "My dad wants me to go to USC," Ford said. "It's all about my decision. If I had to choose between USC and Clemson, I'd pick Clemson." Ford said he was eyeballed by a Clemson recruiter he identified as David Blackwell last season. He said he received his USC offer from Brad Lawing Monday. Ford plans to make unofficial visits to USC, Clemson, NC State and Wake Forest while he's home on spring break. Ford made 117 tackles in his senior season of high school and played in the North-South game. He signed with Newberry but decided not to enroll there and ended up at Coffeyville. He's put on 35 pounds since arriving there.
