By BK...Kurt is getting mail from Michigan, BC, Purdue and Indiana, among others. He is also interested in OSU and ND.

Crown Point (12-0) defeated Merrillville (7-5) 28-7, for the Sectional Championship on November 3rd. The win marks the 3rd Sectional Championship in school history. The Dogs jumped out to a 21-7 lead at the half in a game that was never in doubt. Crown Point will travel to LaPorte on November 10th for the Regional Championship.

Crown Point (12-0) will travel to LaPorte (9-3) on November 10th for the Regional Championship. The Dogs defeated the Slicers in Week 7, 42-41. That game ended with the CP defense stopping the Slicers on downs after LaPorte had recovered an onside kick. The game earlier in the season was played before a standing-room only crowd.

Neither Rivals or Scout are showing anything but I have seen numerous UM fans say that they landed Wemers today...one guy also states that they consider Wermers, O'Neil and Mealer to be on the "same level" as Adams, Shugarts and Brewster.
