OT, but actually, in magnetism likes repel each other. remember, "opposites attract."

Oops, must have attracted too much :beer:when I typed that, again, you guys insist on muddling up these threads with facts and logic, come on this is recruiting.

It is great that tOSU is in on so many great OOS kids it's paying off this year already and will pay off even more in the future.

BIGGEST CATCH

Those are the last visitors UM will host before Wednesday. But the top player on UM's wish list is Booker T. Washington cornerback Brandon Harris, who visited UCF this weekend and said earlier this week he will announce his decision at 1 p.m. Wednesday on ESPN.

Harris would be considered the biggest catch of all for UM, which has four defensive backs locked into its class, but none who are considered ''true cornerbacks.'' Harris told The Miami Herald after his visit to UM last Sunday night that the Canes and Ohio State were his two leaders.

UM, as of Saturday, has four oral commits at safety, but none at cornerback, and the four safeties ( Vaughn Telemaque, C.J. Holton, C.J. Odom and Joe Wylie) cannot play corner, Blustein said, ``which is why it's so imperative to get [Miami Booker T. Washington cornerback] Brandon Harris.''

Coveted Miami Booker T. Washington CB Brandon Harris Is in the building for tonight's game against the Cougars. Harris is seated in the lower level beside Knights receivers' coach David Kelly.

Harris made his final recruiting visit to UCF this weekend and is reportedly waiting until signing day on Feb. 6 to make his final decision, believed to be between frontrunners Ohio State and Miami.

I've been holding on to the thought that Harris could eventually find his way to Columbus in this recruiting class but that thought is starting to slip out of my hand. Too many h.s. teammates and friends @ the U already, proximity, weather (talked about the cold), how fun Miami area is (talked about how much there is to do in Miami and that Columbus is different), father's connection w/ coach Shannon. It's all starting to point towards Miami to me. I hope I'm wrong w/ this one, I really like this kid's ball/cover skills. A lot of people are skeptical about his size/height. There were a few 5'10"-5'11" corners that were very successful @ OSU @ that height (Winfield and Clements to name a few). Love the job the staff has done in the south this year, I guess I'm just not feeling this one.

I was listening to Rivals Radio this morning and one of the guests was a writer for the Miami Rivals site (canesport.com i think?)...

anyway, this writer is very confident that Brandon Harris will be a Cane tomorrow.

CaneSport might be one of the most biased sites around, but in this case I would tend to think they have their ear a little closer to the ground than the specific "national writer for scout"...no one hopes I'm wrong more than me as I have been beating the drums about Harris since this summer. I just don't see it happening...

while i certainly agree with this statement, to be fair on the flip side, Canesport has swung and missed quite a bit this year.

I think this kid will probably go to Miami but I wouldn't be shocked if he picked the Buckeyes. I think the Buckeyes chances are alot better than most are giving us. I think its closer to 50/50 than most Cane fans want to believe.
