Brian was very impressive at tOSU's camp and had a private meeting with the staff. He currently holds offers from Virginia Tech, Clemson, California, Boston College and Colorado, but expects tOSU and Alabama to offer soon. He holds a 3.63 GPA and scored a 1900 on the SAT.

Brians has offers from Virginia Tech, Duke, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Clemson, Boston College, Syracuse, UConn, Pittsburgh, Michigan State, Purdue, Colorado, and California. He is also hearing from Alabama, Ohio State, and UCLA.

Linthicum Down To Five

TE Brian Linthicum (6-5 225) of Charlottesville, VA has cut his list to a final five of Clemson, California, Boston College, Michigan State and Virginia Tech, in no particular order, and plans to make his decision in early August. Linthicum has visited Clemson, BC and Michigan State this summer. He will visit Cal in two weeks and Virginia Tech August 1st. A couple of days after his visit to Blacksburg he will make his decision. Linthicum says three major criteria will be key for the winning school. "The position coach, the future of the program and the academics," he said. Clemson tight end coach Billy Napier recruits Linthicum for the Tigers. "I exchange text messages with him every day," Linthicum said. "He's working me more than the rest of the coaches."
