Brian's father attended tOSU and he has grown up as a Buckeye fan. He is hearing from tOSU, South Carolina,Texas Tech, and Texas A&M. Coach Hazell is handling the recruitment.

My Take: Nice frame that he uses well to shield defenders and has a good set of hands. It was hard to get a grasp on speed in the films, but the 4.6 mentioned in his articles is in the ballpark.

Nice size on Brian plus he is at least hearing from some pretty decent programs...looks like a pretty solid prospect. Wonder if he has any plans to camp with us?

TE Brian Heis (6-6 218) of Kingwood, TX attended camp at USC over the weekend working primarily as a wide receiver. Heis has been favoring the Gamecocks, and had said he would commit if offered. He was not offered while at the camp. "They said they are going to take 4 or 5 receivers and I'm still on the board," Heis said. He added that he still favors the Gamecocks. Heis talked with head coach Steve Spurrier and receivers coach Steve Spurrier Jr. while at the camp. Oklahoma State remains his only offer.
