Junior holds offers from North Carolina, Duke, Michigan, South Carolina, Clemson, and Maryland. He hails from the same high school as past tOSU targets Eric Huggins (Oklahoma) and Hivera Green (VT). As a junior, he caught 52 balls for 846 yards and 10 touchdowns. Junior is receiving heavy interest from Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida and Notre Dame. He names his top five as Michigan, Notre Dame, Clemson, South Carolina, and Ohio State. Right now, Clemson should be considered the leader, but given the program's past of sending player out of state, this fight is far from over.

Scout Film

My Take: Very reminiscent of Eric Huggins as he shows incredible hands and a great burst. The 40 time is not sufficient in terms game speed. Tough runner after the catch. As impressive as any WR I've watched yet.

Junior discusses winning an award as the fastest WR at Michigan's camp last year (4.54 electronic time but the notoriously slow clock is noted). He says he is wide open and has offers from Michigan, South Carolina, Clemson, Maryland, Duke, Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.

that's interesting, why does Oklahoma recruit SC so well?

The area Junior plays in is called the Pee Dee region (although the closer you get to the beach, the more those schools attempt to distance themselves from the regional label). Basically, the Pee Dee is full of unreal athletes (Raymond Felton, Levon Kirkland, John Abraham just to name some recent successes) from extremely small towns. The kids are country kids without much to do beyond athletics. I am amazed at the natural physiques some of these kids are blessed with and the speed is never short. The problem is, many schools do not pay attention to the region because of the reputation of non-qualifiers...a reputation that is slowly being reversed. Only in the past few years have schools outside of UGA, Carolina, and Clemson started to show some interest. This new blood is exciting for the kids and they love the new attention. Oklahoma has done a good job in the area.

The offers are starting to roll in for Conway WR Junior Hemingway (6-2 205). Hemingway said Thursday night he now has offers from USC, Clemson, Michigan, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida State, Virginia Tech and Mississippi State. He is also drawing strong interest from Auburn. Hemingway did not attend USC's junior day. He said me might be going to Clemson Saturday but won't no for sure on that until Friday. He said he is also looking at visiting Auburn and USC this spring. Hemingway said he does not have a favorite.
