07 Recruiting (CBF40's look at our prospects)

Something of that nature...he didn't have an offer when he decided though. I would gladly take Wright, Still, Bryant, and Hines for a class but I'm not feeling confident on anyone besides Hines and Wright. The chances on Still have gone up with early PT and Bryant still has to visit. Not to mention that Wright is still visiting Florida(and maybe Rolle as well). I think it's possible to land all 4 and maybe I'm just pessimistic from this week, but I don't think we end up with those 4.

I don't know why, but I feel our chances are better with Heyward other than still or Bryant...

Do you guys feel that the staff will use the game as recruiting tool? I know they take a soft' sale approach to recruiting but I was wondering would the loss make them change the approach slightly?

I personally (even if I didn't believe it) would be harping on how we need speed players up here and how your (insert Rolle, Thompson, Wright, Allen, RoJo) are needed more so than ever. How we are a few speed players from total domination, blah blah blah.

Also do you guys feel that the staff will change they types of kids their recruiting? I remember other big losses leading to a new approach to things for OSU. Learing about the need to rotate linemen in and out for example from our Florida St. game.

I think, with the coaches back out recruiting, it's possible we could see a reversal of one of these kids back to us before signing day.
It's a crap shoot people!

I will give one last update b4 signing day:

At this point there are really only a few guys still left on the board.

I think the guys we have the best shot at are Wright and Hines...

I say we have a chance with Green, Still, Heyward...

Guys that will still get talked about up till they verbal to some place else or sign their LOI; best guess in ()...RoJo(Michigan), Allen(FSU), Thompson(UF), Jeremiah(MSU)...

15./16. - At this point I don't have a lot of confidence just merely b/c of what has happened. I think that if they can get Wright they take him and they would take all of Still/Heyward and Green if they could get them with them being at positions of need, but I just think Still is enamored with PSU, Heyward will end up staying home or not leaving the South and Wright could very well end up wanting to play with his teammate at Miami, and Green will end up @ USC even tho they have 10 5 star rb's. Hopefully we can pull in 2 of the 4. If not we bank ships for next year.

Lets just keep our fingers crossed and see how we finish, but we do have 08' to look forward to which should be a great class.
