2006 - High School Football:
As a junior, Hynoski ran for 2,180 yards and 34 touchdowns on 240 carries. He caught six passes for 136 yards and a touchdown. Hynoski scored 216 points for the season. Hynoski has been part of three state championship teams in three years at Southern Columbia.


With one season left Hynoski has rushed for 4,889 yards and 72 touchdowns on 548 carries. he has averaged an amazing (8.92 yards per carry). he has caught 24 passes for 412 yards and three touchdowns, giving him 76 total touchdowns in his career.

Sophomore Stats: Hynoski rushed for 1,844 yards and 23 touchdowns on 199 carries.

Freshmen Stats: Rushed for 865 yards and 14 touchdowns on 109 carries.

Hynoski's father Henry Hynoski Sr. played at Temple and for the Cleveland Browns (1975-76).
Henry has a 3.9 GPA and currently ranks 4th of 119 students in his class and is a meber of the national Honor Society.

Henry has been hearing from coaches at tOSU, Pittsburgh, Penn St., and Notre Dame. He camped at Notre Dame, tOSU, Penn St., Pittsburgh, and Michigan. tOSU likes him as a FB, and Coach Dick Tressel has been in close contact and is very impressed. He has told Henry and his coach that they think he fits tOSU's system very well. Henry will be in attendance with teammate Josh Marks at tOSU's game with Northwestern on Saturday.

Staff at Bucknuts interviews Henry about his recruiting. Henry seems to have a liking for Penn St., but acknowledges that there are really no early favorites at this point. He enjoyed the atmostphere for the Northwestern game and gave tOSU high marks for their dentistry school and pharmaceutical majors. Henry carries a 3.96 GPA.

Henry and his Southern Columbia team manhandled Duquesne (Elijah Fields' team) 50-19 to win their 4th consecutive PIAA Class A championship. Henry had 35 carries for 271 yards and 4 TD's in the game. He finished his season with 2186 yards and 35 TD's.
Henry visited Penn St. twice this year (Purdue and Wisconsin), tOSU for the Northwestern game, and Notre Dame for the Syracuse game. He is hearing from <!--StartFragment -->Pittsburgh, Penn State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Boston College, Michigan State, West Virginia and Purdue.

From the PSU site...update on Josh Marks and Henry Hynoski. Henry does not talk about what schools he is interested in or have offered, but he and Marks are very tight.

Seeing as though Marks is a heavy PSU-lean and claims that most schools are recruiting them together as a package deal, it is likely that if PSU offers both, they will end up together at PSU. But seeing a though it is early in the process, let's see what happens...

Henry has an offer from Rutgers and is expecting one from Pitt this weekend. He is also getting heavy interest from PSU and tOSU as well as a host of other schools. He has already unofficially visited tOSU to tour the facilities.

By Bob Lichtenfels...Henry visited Pitt yesterday. They are recruiting him as a tailback. He talks about his visit to OSU (not really a junior day but just a small group of recruits). He has also visited Maryland and Virginia unofficially. Pitt and Rutgers have offered.
