'07 OH WR/DB Chris Rucker (Michigan State Verbal)

If there is one position in Ohio that's loaded this year, it's CB. With that being said, Rucker is as solid as they come. His stock has seriously been on the rise this camp season. I heard that the Warren Harding camp participants (Boom, Rucker, and Luke George) received a lot of love yesterday, so an offer for Rucker is a possibility. IF it happens, MY best guess would be next week before Herron commits (he WANTS to announce next week). If Rucker gets offered, I would find it hard for ANY SCHOOL to keep both players out of Columbus unless UM pulls the trigger. A few schools, such as Akron, Indiana, Boston College, Cincinnati, etc., have already taken the "package deal" approach as they have each offered multiple WGH players. IF (and that's a big IF) Ohio State takes the same approach, I think that it's a wrap.

Thanks Worm, now i wouldn't mind offering Rucker, not just becasue we would most likely get Herron but because he had a good showing at camp and looks liek a serious player.

He is one that I am really starting to warm up to. I know there is Mabin, who could be a solid corner, but Rucker has the size on him.

Right now we have Evege and should have Torrence, but he is a wildcard and could go the baseball route, so I see 3 corners in this class. I think with the good camp showing that Rucker put up he will be one of the ones that gets a nice hard look.
