From BSB...Zak has been invited to junior days at Illinois and Akron.

My take: highly unlikely he gets an offer from OSU, but we like to track the Ohio kids so I figured we should have a thread on him.

Video of Zak.

My take: good footwork, good prescence in the pocket, decent speed, not much arm strength, has a tendency to short arm throws to get them off quickly, looks like the kind of QB who could do well running the option at a service academy

I saw Zak play this season against Findlay and was some what impressed with his ability to move in the pocket. I think he could potentially play at a smaller Big Ten School or maybe a MAC school.

Not to get to far off topic. Dublin had a OT that was very large around 6'5 and 300 and did not seem very chubby at all. I'm not sure what his name is but someone needs to start a thread on him. Also Chris Schnieder a QB at Findlay is about 6'3 and 235 lbs. and has a very strong arm. I'm not sure on about his overall decision making or accuracy but to pass for 2,200 yards and have a 1,000 yd rusher on the same team he is a very good passer.

By Jeremy Crabtree...Zak is hearing from Indiana, Illinois, Cincinnati, Ohio State, Akron and Toledo. He will be at the Nike Camp in Columbus. In the off-season, he works out with former Steeler Cliff Stout.
