thank you, sir. i grew up 5 mins from both west milton and from englewood.. if my redhawks get either/both belton and evans, i'll be a happy man.

btw, kudos to all of the contributors for this site...one of the best recruiting sites out there.

QB but he could play safety. If they got both Belton and Mitchell, I would expect Mitchell to play safety. I think he is better at safety than QB. We just went against Evans in 7 on 7's and he made some nice throws but I think he is better on defense. Watch out for Indiana though because they are close to offering with a good season and he really likes them as well.

Here's a pic of Mitchell from Milton's 28-21 win over rival Tipp City last night...

Mitchell had 20 carries for 180 yards and a TD (including the game clinching 63-yard TD run), while completing 10/15 passes for 64 yards and another score.

College will determine

I am sure most are in agreement that the college Mitchell chooses will dictate his position. I believe he can play qb in the MAC and possibly in the Big 10 in the right situation. As far as 7 on 7 drills speaking as a former coach I will take a qb with some mobility when the lights come on as opposed to a 6'5 statue who barely runs a 4.9 40. He better have Dan Marino's release because he will be in serious trouble if he isn't.

Valley View is currently 1-3. They had some disciplinary problems that resulted in five seniors being kicked off the team including the starting qb from last year. The current starting qb separated his shoulder against Oakwood last week and no word if he is able to play yet. It is still VV and the game is there so anything could happen.
