Tabron

I am from Stark county. He is 225 lbs for sure (I have seen him up close as well). His lateral speed if very good. Most importantly he has a nose for the ball. He is also exceptional at fullback when used.

I like that hat George is wearing!!! Also, Rivals now has him listed at 230lbs. With that size and an aparent 4.5 40... he could be one to watch for at the MIKE. Has anybody come across an film of him?

Unfortunately it looks like George made a poor decision a couple of weeks ago: http://cantonrep.com/index.php?Category=15&Section=Local

Excerpt:

Three Central Catholic High School students face criminal charges after a fight that left a St. Thomas Aquinas High School student with a broken jaw.

The fight took place March 17 just before midnight in a parking lot on the St. Michael’s Church property on Fulton Drive NW near the Whipple Avenue NW intersection in Plain Township, according to a Stark County Sheriff’s report. Between 30 and 40 high school students had gone to the lot after spending the night exchanging insults during telephone calls.
It’s a matter of a high school rivalry going too far, said City Prosecutor Frank Forchione. Several student athletes from both schools became entangled in the brawl.
One of those athletes — George Tabron, 18, of 5201 Harmont Ave. NE, Plain Township — has been charged with felonious assault. He was released from the Stark County Jail on Tuesday after his family posted 10 percent of a $50,000 bond.
Charges of delinquency by felonious assault have been filed in Stark County Family Court against two 17-year-old Central Catholic students and football teammates Jon Friedman and Marcello Natale. They were released from the Stark County Multi-Attention Center, put on an electronic home monitor and will have a court hearing next week.
The trio are accused of beating Nick Pederzolli, 18, of Overlook Drive in Alliance. Pederzolli, a junior at Aquinas, has had one surgery to repair a broken jaw and could face more surgeries.
The extent of Pederzolli’s injuries convinced Forchione to file the felonious assault charges. “It’s a very, very serious injury to him,” Forchione said.
The injury has delayed Pederzolli’s participation on the Aquinas track team this season. He is among Stark County’s fastest 400-meter runners and placed fifth in the event in the Division III state track and field meet last June. Tabron, meanwhile, earned second-team all-Ohio honors last fall while playing linebacker for Central Catholic. A junior, Tabron already was attracting the attention of some Division I college football programs.

In reagards to the court case, it was thrown out after it was determined that the kid from Aquinas greatly fabricated his injuries and apparently George wasn't even involved in the fight. Glad to see that he was totally cleared...
