Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 215 pounds
40-yard: 4.5 seconds
Bench max: 285 pounds

Early interest in Boston College, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Wisconsin.

Older brother David is a safety at Notre Dame.

Named Honorable Mention Southwest All-District in 2005.

From the most recent Ohio High, where he is listed as a DE:

Had 4 sacks by midseason. Runs a 4.62 forty. Brother David is a Notre Dame safety.

IIRC, tOSU came in late on David and ended up losing him to ND. Hopefully, if the talent is there, the staff gets on Kendrick early enough to get a real look. With that "tweener" size, his position options could be open depending on his agility.

I hate to overuse the word, but I look at this kids measurable and I think add a little weight and maintain the speed and we could either have a nice TE or a potential LEO...

I've seen Bruton play and he wasn't too bad but I highly doubt he gets much interest from OSU or an offer from any bigger programs. Perhaps maybe an Indiana offer or a lower-tier Big Ten team.

My Take: I like Kendrick much better as a TE. Defensively, he looked stiff, not very explosive, and does not use his hands well. As a receiver, he showed his athleticism and good acceleration for a big man. The only two blocking clips were adequate, but not overly impressive. I will be surprised if tOSU offers.
