'07 OH DE/LB Marlin Parker (Toledo Verbal)

Did more reps then half the people at the combine last week. Not calling you a liar, but that's pretty fishy. You may want to double check, because at most high schools the testing is done with 185. Even at the AA combine and camps, 185 is the max rep weight.

I understand where your coming from, but my information is 100% accurate. Head Coach McDaniels & Strength & Conditioning Coach Matt Richardson, who also coaches the running backs, have done a great job of working the players hard year round. Students @ WGH who can bench 225 test with that. That includes most of the upperclassmen and a couple sophomores (junior-to-bes). For example, Chris Rucker did around 7 or so reps of 225 on Monday (I don't have an official count, so I didn't post it in his thread). There are quite a few players @ WGH who do a lot of reps of 225 that I don't mention on here because they don't have topics. I don't want to come off like I'm bragging about it, but I just post updates on offseason workouts. As a matter of fact, I think that Marlin was in the 16-18 rep range for a while, but he's worked very hard to pick that pace up. Like I said earlier, if Marlin continues to develop his nasty streak, he could really be something special. He's been starting since his sophomore year, playing against the toughest competition Ohio has to offer. Besides college opportunities, competition is another key factor in why WGH's players have tried to step it up. Division 1 in Ohio is loaded every year and that has motivated the players to push harder. Hopefully, it will show on the field in 06.

That's impressive b/c Clarett only did 22 reps last year at the NFL combine. WGH's strength program is so good, kids get weaker after leaving!

Clarett didn't play football for over two years before that. I wasn't surprised when his numbers went down 2 whole reps.

sehs95, I don't know what your beef is with me, but I'm not even going to go there wth you. Normally, I'd start a big fuss with somebody like you, but I'm not going to get into that. I've had my problems on Buckeye Planet in the past with other posters, most of them I didn't even start, but people like yourself don't phase me anymore. FWIW, I don't come to Nate Oliver's, Diaute Morrow's, or anybody elses thread from St. Eds to take shots at anybody/any HS and I'd appreciate it if you showed me the same respect. You'd only make yourself look stupid if you didn't.
