Lisbon (OH)
David Anderson

Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 245 pounds
40-yard dash: 4.7 seconds
GPA: 3.3

Vincent is probably the most sought after football player from Lisbon High School since I have been here for the last 16 years. He is definitely a Division I prospect. He is a big strong kid with a big frame. He gets to the ball real well and is a big hitter. He has really good speed for his size. He is getting bigger every day and we expect big things from him as a senior next year. -David Anderson HS coach Jim Tsilimos

An all-conference, all-county, and all-district selection his junior season.

Interested in Illinois, Indiana, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, West Virginia and Akron.

Vincent is gaining more attention after various combines. He has offers from Indiana, Northwestern, and Akron. tOSU has shown some interest.

Five on the Rise feature designates Vince as a player receiving much more attention.

I like this kid's size and speed...unfortunately all the film I've seen is of him playing either tackle or TE. he has good hands and feet but plays way too high. I would prefer to see some film of him at DE/MLB where I think he has more of a chance to make an impact at the D1 level.

from the Crabtree free article...

Position: Defensive end
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 245 pounds
There is no question that Browne's physical tools have already allowed him to rack up several solid offers, but his performance on Friday at the Columbus NIKE Camp could have taken his stock from a mid-level Big 10 guy to a guy that could end up playing upper-level football anywhere. Former NFL linebacker Chris Gizzi called him the best linebacker overall in the Columbus camp. "He's going to be a good one because he's so athletic," Gizzi said. – Jeremy Crabtree

Teams see he's 6'5" and think he's too tall for LB. If he was "the best linebacker overall in the Columbus camp", then I don't care if he grows to 6'8" and 280...he should stay at LB if he's as athletic as they say.

At 6'5 240 he might very well have been the best LB. If he puts on 40lbs of muscle, I kinda doubt he stays at LB. His reported 40 was 4.75-excellent for a DE, so-so for a LB. Either way, he sounds like a great prospect-Duane Long said he was more athletic than Jacob Ballard. BTW, isn't Lisbon Larry Csonka's old school?

Vincent is a great looking football player. I think he has the ability to play several positions at the next level. I have heard that a lot of teams like him as an O-Lineman at this point (it also mentions this in the article ^). Could be interesting to see how he does at camp...

I know Vince personally (and have since his junior high days) and I have NOTHING but great things to say about him. Football-wise, I think he has the option to stay MLB size and work on speed drills, or he looks like he can easily add some more weight to his frame and be a terror at DE. He may be able to play O-line, but I think his intensity is best suited for defense. He is just as athletic as advertised, if not more. And, his eyes start to get "fired up" when I just ask him about the 2006 football season. He plays at 110% all the time. But, the best thing, IMO, is that he has the personal character that JT often seeks out. Humble, hard working, and stays out of trouble. All in all, a great kid and a great athlete. I hope he finds a home at tOSU.

Btw, Lisbon is Csonka's hometown, to the best of my knowledge. His name is on a gas station, bar, and an athletic complex.
