Bobby LaRosa

DB/RB
Avon HS
Avon, Oh
HT: 6'0
WT: 217 lbs.
40: 4.6
Bench: 350
Rep: 25

Bobby goes to school at Avon High School, which is next to Avon Lake High School. Rushed for over 3,000 yards and 35 TD's on offense throughout his career and also has 11 career INT's. Attend OSU camp this year and ran a 4.3 shuttle. Is getting interest from Ohio State, Purdue, Penn State, Bowling Green, and Pitt. Heavily favors the Buckeyes. Has a 3.3. GPA and has yet to take an ACT or SAT.

My take: Looks like a nice OLB prospect, with impressive stats and measurables. Looks to be a serious contender for an OSU offer. We should get a commitment if we offer.

From OhioVarsity...Bobby turned in a 4.82 40, 4.25 shuttle, did 31 reps at 185 lbs. and posted a 31-inch vertical jump at the Nike Camp in Columbus, which was good enough for the best SPARQ rating of all the LBs in attendence (including Dailey and Hines). He is hearing from Ohio State, Pitt, West Virginia, Virginia, Colorado, Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Bowling Green.

He weighed in at 230 at the Nike Camp and he just ran a 4.7 at Pitt. He'll be at the OSU One Day Camp this weekend. Coach Beckman is high on him, and no doubt LaRosa would accept an OSU offer, but Ohio is loaded with LB's...so I'm not sure where he is on the OSU pecking order.
