Yeah it lists Hazell in his rivals profile as being his recruiter. I am sure he has major connections up there.

From the Rutgers site...Thomas' coach talks about his style of play. He also talks about the coaches who have been in to see Wayne, which includes Darrell Hazell. He is hearing a lot from Ohio State, Penn State, Florida and Iowa.

The articles says he had offers to Miami, Ohio State, Purdue, Boston College, Iowa, Michigan State, Syracuse and more. I find that a little hard to believe, but alas...

Man, I was really hoping that we would show interest in him, but you can't fault a kid for wanting to stay home. I think with the lack of updates, that it must of been clear that he was going to Rutgers.
