"In my five years at Kearney high, Brandon is the best player I've coached. He's very physical and he's done a lot for us ever since his sophomore year." -Brandon Cool, Kearney High Head Coach

Keller is the top linebacker prospect in the state of Nebraska for the class of 2007.

Interested in Colorado State, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska and Ohio State.

Not sure how interested we are in him at this point, but he lists OSU in his top 5 and plans to camp at OSU this summer. I really like his measurables and from what I have heard he is the real deal. If he were a couple inches taller with everything else the same, he would probably be talked about as one of the top LBs in the country. He may be one to keep an eye on as camp approaches...

Film.

My Take: Noah is definitely hardnosed and athletic. Its hard to get a read on the measurables from the film, but I buy the speed and question the size listed. However, that is a film read and not Gospel. Noah's straight ahead speed is fine but he will need lateral work...works well in scraping/plugging.

Film.

The first nine clips show Noah at FB. He is a solid inside runner who does not shy away from contact and shows decent hands. He does run a bit upright. On defense, he shows good pursuit angles and work well in traffic.

I agree with this, but I was just not impressed with is film. He does a great job, of reading the play and getting to the ball, but when he gets there he missed quite a bit of tackles, trys to hit the guy too high at times and doesnt wrap, trys to swing the guy down. I think he would have a lot of work to end up a backer here, or a high level d-I program for that matter

I agree...I wasn't as impressed him Noah's film as some others. I would be surprised to see him get an offer, but I may be wrong.

I'm not disagreeing with any of this...maybe just some parts of the tackling breakdown but that is not really important. Noah has solid instincts and pretty good technique...he just looks stiff and doesn't change direction very well. He reminds me of Schlegel...pretty good straight ahead speed, tough inside and on the ISO, but not a great lateral guy. That is tough to project for offers...

If he turns out to be close to the college player Anthony Schlegel was, he'll do fine.

Yeah I agree he has the instincts, just needs to work on techniques, which is somthing that can be worked on.

Might be a mixup in terminology here, but I thought his technique was fine for an ILB...it was morethings that cannot be coached. You either have it or you don't imho. I don't want to say the kid won't end up as a player, but as you and Wes said, he just doesn't blow you away on film.

Yeah, I got turned around a little. I just think that he has the ability to fill and be around the ball, but not sure if he will be able to get there on the college level and right now when he gets there he struggles to bring the guy down.

His angles and scraping were solid...game changer? I don't think so, but I think he can be a solid college LB. Not spectacular, but he can do the job. unfortunately, I don't see tOSU looking for adequate LBs.

and right now when he gets there he struggles to bring the guy down.

Hmmm. Disagreed, but we've discussed a difference in tackling philosophies before. What I see in the clips is a LB overrunning the play and then the change of direction I keep mentioning forcing a tackle that is not "textbook pretty." However, I don't see a problem in his fundamental tackling.
