Had outstanding sophomore season as he caught 69 receptions for 1,008 yards (14.8 average) with 13 TDs. Can be used as a possession receiver and a deep threat. Dangerous runner on reverse and trapping/counter plays. Two-year starter on offense and defense for the Bulldogs, who will play for the Class 3A title. "Fast, tough and good," coach Dwight Lundeen says. Already a Division I prospect. All-Wright County Conference selection and St Cloud Times All-Area team.

From the Minny site...Shane is getting mail from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, BYU, and Ohio State. He favors Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa but says that if OSU or ND offered that could change things.

Lots of early kids from Minny. I must say Doc Tressel is doing a very good job in that state, just to get these kids interested in us.

It's nice to see states like Minnesota and Michigan churning out some more talent. It will reduce the number of programs coming in and stealing Ohio kids and should likely help in-state programs like Miami, Kent State, Akron, etc.

Yeah the whole midwest in general is up and coming in terms of talent. Maybe it could be that scouts are just seeing more people and not just paying attention to the big schools, b/c usually a lot of the under the radar kids turn out to be good, they were just never noticed in high school, b/c they werent in talent rich states.
