Michael is hearing from Iowa, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Ohio State. He will be at tOSU's Jr. Day and camp in Columbus. Coach Dick Tressel was already in Michael's school to meet with his coach. Wisconsin and tOSU are his favorites right now.

Dick Tressel is really hitting Minnesota hard while he is to visit. Should be interesting to see if we make any offers out in Minnesota. Last year it appeared we had quite a few Minnesota prospects we were in on and we didn't offer one of them.

Michael still proclaims tOSU as his leader, followed by Minnesota and Iowa State. He recently visited Wisconsin and didn't like it very well. He will camp at tOSU in hopes of landing an offer. Michael is fully qualified with a 3.3 GPA and a 20 on the ACT. He wants to decide by late summer or the beginning of his football season.

Film.

My take: First film probably shows him with better hands than anything else. Lots of clips of him catching the ball out of the backfield and showing his great speed. Not afraid to take it up inside and use his short stature to his advantage, ala Mo Wells or Fred Russell. Not sure if he is going to be in contention for an offer from OSU given the depth in Ohio, but he is a fine looking back.
